The bottom of the coastline is rocky in the area (there is a risk of damage to the boat). To avoid damage, the operator of the boat must follow the following procedure:

  • The speed of the boat must be reduced to at least 5 knots at about 50m from the shore.
  • When disembarking on a shore, the operator switches off the engine and lifts it to waiting position at least 20m away from the shore. Approach must be careful, and the operator should always be cautious of the seabed for any rocks.
  • Use of anchor is mandatory for every disembarkation on shore.
  • It is forbidden to drag the boat out on the shore, or any contact with the seabed or the ground.

In this case, the operator approaches the shore with oars, enough for the rest of the passengers to get off when the water point is at a level where they can walk.

The operator descends last after making sure that the boat is moored and the engine is safely raised with the propeller upwards.
